Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the use of rugbypop.com, a free rugby prediction platform published by POSITION ZERO (see the Legal Notice). Creating an account means you fully accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the game rules.

2. What RugbyPop is NOT: a betting site

RugbyPop is a 100% free prediction game based on players' sporting knowledge (a skill-based game). No money can be staked and no money can be won. RugbyPop is therefore not a gambling operator within the meaning of the French Internal Security Code and is not subject to licensing by the French gambling authority (ANJ). The "odds" displayed are purely indicative (they illustrate how hard a prediction is): they are neither a betting offer nor advice.

3. Sign-up and account

• Sign-up is free: an email address, a username and a password are enough.
• It is restricted to people aged 18 or over.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts are prohibited.
• Your credentials are strictly personal; you are responsible for keeping them confidential.
• Offensive usernames, usernames contrary to public order or impersonating someone are prohibited.

4. How the game works

You predict the results of the rugby matches offered (Top 14, Premiership, URC, Super Rugby Pacific…). Each prediction can be changed until kick-off, then it is locked. Current scoring:

• Correct result (home win / draw / away win): 10 points
• Exact score: 30 points
• Correct margin (within ±5 points, Expert mode): +5 points
• "Banco" (one per round): match points doubled (×2)
• "Better than Riton" bonus (the platform's AI): +5 points

POSITION ZERO may adjust this scoring for future rounds (never retroactively). In case of discrepancy, the game rules prevail.

5. No prizes

RugbyPop offers no prizes and no material or financial rewards. Points, badges and rankings are purely honorific, with no monetary value: they cannot be exchanged, converted or transferred. Players never stake any money: no bets, no purchases, no entry fees. See the game rules.

6. Anti-cheating

The following are prohibited and lead to exclusion: multiple accounts, automation (bots, scripts), exploiting technical flaws, collusion to manipulate rankings, and any circumvention of the rules. POSITION ZERO may recalculate points or cancel results in case of proven fraud.

7. Player discussion and moderation

Every match has a discussion open to all registered players. Messages are published under the sole responsibility of their author.

Prohibited: insults, hateful or discriminatory speech, harassment, threats, sexual or shocking content, advertising and spam, disclosure of another person's personal data, and any unlawful content.

Reporting a message: the menu on each message lets you report it and block its author, in which case their messages are no longer shown to you. A message reported by several players is automatically hidden pending human review. You may also write to charles@position-zero.fr.

POSITION ZERO may delete any message that breaches these rules and suspend its author's account, without notice in the event of a serious breach.

8. Intellectual property

The platform, the RugbyPop brand, the Riton mascot and all original content belong to POSITION ZERO (see the Legal Notice). Using the Site grants you no rights over these elements.

9. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability. POSITION ZERO is not liable for interruptions (maintenance, hosting, force majeure), for errors in sports data from third-party sources (results, calendars, which may be corrected afterwards), or for how you use the predictions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by writing to charles@position-zero.fr. POSITION ZERO may suspend or delete an account that violates these Terms (sections 3, 6), with prior notice except in urgent cases.

12. Changes to the Terms

POSITION ZERO may modify these Terms. For substantial changes, users are informed (by email and/or an in-app banner) at least 15 days before they take effect.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, please first seek an amicable solution by writing to charles@position-zero.fr. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Perpignan (France), subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.
